MiKK is launching the Wednesday Webinar Series specifically designed for EU family judges dealing with cross-border parental responsibility disputes and parental child abduction cases.
Nearly three years after the Brussels IIb Recast (Council Regulation (EU) 2019/1111) entered into force, judges across EU Member States welcome the improvements brought by the (relatively new) Regulation while also highlighting ongoing challenges.
The MiKK Wednesday Webinars are designed to offer EU family judges the opportunity to clarify existing questions, discuss any problems experienced and receive practical guidance on applying the Brussels IIb Recast in complex parental responsibility and international child abduction cases. Participating Judges will have the chance to deepen their understanding, learn about new possibilities and best practices for resolving these complex cases under the Brussels IIb Regulation – and comparing notes with family judges from across different EU Member States.
Expert Speakers
These online sessions will be led by experienced and internationally recognized judges and expert jurists, offering valuable insights, updates and space for discussion for family judges from different EU Member States.
