Event Details

This ongoing training workshop is aimed at MiKK cross-border family mediators and other international family mediators wishing to upgrade and extend their qualifications for mediating in Hague Convention cases.

Power imbalances are a common feature of any family conflict but are particularly evident in Hague Convention cases, where the left-behind parent often feels confident of being able to force the return of the child. The workshop will deal with the different types of power imbalance in Hague Convention cases and will look at strategies and tools to deal with them. The emphasis will be on active participation of the workshop participants.
